Bill Griswold and Will Roberts Pass Away

Posted: February 4, 2014 in Uncategorized

We’ve lost two wonderful defenders of freedom this weekend. Our deepest sympathies to the families and dearest friends of these two. Please pray for comfort and healing for the families of both these fine men. They will both be missed, and we trust they are resting in peace in the bosom of Our Heavenly Father….

Susie and Wayne Griswold sent the following notice:

Dear Friends,

This past Saturday morning Grandpa (Bill) Griswold went to be with the Lord. After many months of suffering the effects of kidney cancer that had spread to his lungs and lymph nodes, he is finally at peace.

We welcome you to join us in a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to be held this week Thursday, February 06, 2014 at 5:30 pm at the Skyline Full Gospel church; a little white church,  located on Hwy 76, just a block west of the junction of Hwy 76 and C Hwy in Douglas County not far from the Skyline School.  Afterwards we will meet and Bill and Karen’s home, just two miles away,  for a time of snacks and fellowship. Feel free to bring a snack to share.

Grandpa chose to be cremated so there will not be a casket. We simply want to spend some time rejoicing in his life. There will be an open mic time for anyone who wishes to share something about Grandpa/Bill.

Still Rejoicing,

Wayne and Susie Griswold

And Paul Bingham sent this note regarding Will Roberts on February 2nd:

“Will Roberts passed away this morning, at the Red Rose Inn in Cassville Missouri. He had been battling terminal cancer for the past month. Will’s manifold accomplishments and attributes need no recitation to remain in our remembrance. He made his peace with God and died a pain free death, we believe.

Please pray for his family, especially his loving nieces who sacrificed to take care of him in the past month.”

Will suffered from a series of what were thought to be ministrokes last month. Then it was determined that he had lung cancer which I understand spread to his brain rendering him incapable of communication.

Will Roberts had a radio show for quite awhile called “Be Vocal Local” educating listeners on the issue and methods of implementation of Agenda 21. While some found his quick and decisive statements a bit unrefined, Will certainly got the big picture in a very quick manner and was unafraid to share that picture with others. He was true to the cause of defending freedom and showing those who worked against in a clear light for all to see.

He will be missed.
