Posted: December 5, 2013 in Agenda 21/Sustainable Development, Agriculture, Meetings, Water Issues

From our friends in Arkansas comes notice of the following meeting. Please note you must register by tomorrow!

The AreaWide News has a notice of a Watershed Workshop to be held at the Ash Flat campus of Ozarka College on Dec. 12th from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  No fee for the workshop, lunch is provided.   Reservations are necessary by Friday, December 6th.
The Arkansas Coop. Extension Services is putting this on to discuss what residents can do at the local level to improve the health of their waterways.  The discussion will focus on the Strawberry River Watershed.  It is being put on in conjunction with the Arkansas Watershed Steward program funded by the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission, who as you know was a proponent of the Blueways.
This would be an informative meeting for anyone interested in property rights issues to attend.
To reserve a spot, contact the Fulton Co. Extension Office at 870-895-3301 or 501-671-2160.
